Servant Leaders are women and men who respond to their deepest calling to serve.  They are guided by a felt sense of longing to attend to others, to be in service of life, in all its manifestations.

There is a trusting of a reciprocity that in the very act of giving, the boundary between self and others is made more permeable.
There is within the awareness of the servant leaders the deepest intention to be an ally of the higher good.  A servant leader is a person who returns again and again to an inner orientation to serve as they are challenged by the responsibilities of their role..
Their concern for the whole extends beyond their own organization to the larger ecosystem. A servant leader knows that under the smaller, daily needs are fundamental needs as a human—to be loved, to be witnessed, to be held in times of crisis, and being asked to contribute and acknowledged for contribution. They know they must model their humanity as a leader and support others to be servant leaders in their own right.. The humility that attends carrying such a big span of awareness is a core aspect of the inner orientation.of servant leadership.

When people experience genuine collaboration, equality, and focus on purpose, leadership rotates around the circle moment by moment.

The center of the space serves like a well-spring of ideas; people volunteer for different tasks, energy is thoughtful and creative. These are the moments when leadership and good hosting is lifted from your shoulders to the shoulders of everyone present. It is a magical experience and once a group knows they are capable of shared leadership they desire to keep using it.
A Circle Wizard is someone who understands the power of the circle form but also knows how to transform the space for what is needed – creativity, joy, and depth. Circle is a dynamic interaction creating new ways of being and holding each other with regard and dignity.

“Natural” refers to the original gifts in every human being and our connectedness to mother earth.

We naturally embody the ability to create, to preserve, to lead, and feel all life. In claiming our naturalness and connectedness we want to learn to use these natural talents and abilities in wherever we go and whatever we do.
We already carry the gifts of intuition and curiosity, a sense of beauty, a feeling for coherence and knowing where home is.
Natural Natives are able to ask questions in the most seamless way possible. They know how to listen with empathy, speak with clarity, be still and aware in silence.
Natural Natives can sustain a centered, highly resourceful state, giving them a powerful aura and presence.

SPACE STEWARD

Experience how to recognize and cultivate physical, emotional, & sacred spaces that invite our best selves.

Become a Space Steward
. Experience how to recognize and cultivate physical, emotional, & sacred inner and outer spaces that call forth our best selves

Space Stewards attend to the physical and emotional spaces that allow for dialogue and further development. They attend to the aesthetics and functionality of the inner and outer spaces where the work will take place.
Space Stewards bring their personal experiences with the generative qualities of spaciousness to the people and groups they work with. There are spaces where there aren’t answers yet, where  we are waiting for the next movement. There are also spaces, where we set aside time for reflection, quiet, and healing. The space steward knows that generativity arises from “being”, and being requires intimacy with one’s own presence. Cultivating mental spaciousness involves frameworks of thinking that make room for the unknown, the transpersonal, and the still. Practices involve using mind against mind to deconstruct old beliefs,  leaving room for reflection and new contributions. The Space Steward helps the Crucible Guardian prepare people for change, and prepares hosts, sponsors, allies, and the physical space to invite spaciousness and the extraordinary.
Placeholder Image

You will be invited to explore...

  • Ways to invite groups into spaciousness.
  • Holding stillness in the group to invite the potency of quiet reflection., How mindfulness can quiet the reactive nervous system in yourself and others
  • How busyness, trauma, and anxiousness can overwhelm your own relationship to  spaciousness
  • How to “make things nice” and create healthy and physically inspiring spaces.

This is for you if…

  • You suspect that the sacred comes alive in our lives through stillness.
  • You are concerned with how busy and even how possessed you are.
  • You believe your quality of being is a “sacred” contribution.
  • You find yourself and the people you work with trying to accomplish too much, too quickly.
  • You want to design environments that invite spaciousness and the extraordinary.

Learn to be a

CRUCIBLE GUARDIAN

Learn to be a Crucible Guardian: Work with the betwixt & between, where we are no longer the old & not yet the new - the birthplace of a new future.

Mar 26, 2021

9:00-11:00 am Pacific

Crucibles are containers strong enough to allow the heat of change to melt diverse elements together and bring about the new.

The work of the leader often requires transformational change. This includes recognizing and supporting specific instances of transformational moments and understanding how such instances morph and replicate over the long arc of a complete change process.
Rites of Passage and ceremony have long been understood as key human processes for responding to transitions and liminal states. They create crucibles that offer meaningful ways for embodying the deeper patterns of transformational change. Guardians of the crucible help illuminate the creative and challenging tensions of being in the betwixt and between, serving the process in which the old loses its form so that it can be re-formed into the new. The crucible guardian helps design, build and protect the crucible long enough to meaningfully support those who are in the midst of transformation change, a time when we are most vulnerable and paradoxically most potent.
Placeholder Image

You will be invited to explore...

  • Understanding the process of change from the inside out-what is the human experience of being transformed.
  • Working at the thresholds and margins of inner and outer processes so that the collective melding of different elements can safely give birth to what is wanting to emerge in the larger social field.
  • Creating, maintaining, and modulating the work of crucibles as sacred containers where the magic can happen and wisdom emerges..
  • Finding ways to creatively work with uncertainty, ambiguity, and not knowing as conditions for the new to take shape.

This is for you if...

  • You are ready to hold challenging times as opportunities.
  • You are engaged with conflict situations that require healing.
  • You are alert to polarities, and how opposites can be a doorway to a greater sense of wholeness.
  • You want to create and participate in a deeper sense of community with others.
  • You are facing situations that threaten to fracture into different factions or opposing ideas.

Ritual Intercessor — April 9, 2021

Become a

Ritual Intercessor

Broaden yours and others' experience by guiding rituals that ignite healing, connection & transformation.

Apirl 9, 2021

9:00-11:00 am Pacific

Placeholder Image

The Ritual Intercessor intervenes on behalf of an individual or group by seeking guidance from spirit, offering prayers, and calling for ritual when it is needed.

He or she has a strong relationship with the invisible or transpersonal world and often has a dedicated spiritual practice. Guiding groups through the acts of healing and transformation requires being finely attuned to the energies and readiness of everyone who is participating. These sensitivities are supported by ways of knowing and kinds of perceptions that are beyond the rational mind like intuition, access to deep or higher self, and other types of guidance from within or the natural world.
The intercessor works closely with the crucible guardian. While the crucible guardian attends to the overall process container, the embodied horizontal dimension of ritual, the ritual intercessor attends to the spiritual vertical dimension of the process work. Intercessors traditionally operate within the systems of a specific culture to bring down the spiritual energy, wisdom and teachings on behalf of  healing, igniting creativity,  and inviting innovation. Familiar distinctions are the shaman, priest, or rabbi. However the qualities of an intercessor can be accessible to many of us through cultivation and practice. It is through the act of connecting with these spiritual insights that we access what is needed to create a new future.
Placeholder Image

You are invited to explore...

  • Being open to dimensions in life that are transpersonal, universal and larger than any one person.
  • Partnering with the transpersonal/invisible world to receive guidance. This includes sharpening intentionality and staying tuned to higher dimensions.
  • Sensing what is evolving in an emergent and dynamic process and helping it become realized in the here and now. Midwifing emergence.
  • Tracking the unfolding patterns within a ritual process.

This is for you if..

  • You are interested in tracking the long cycles of the larger system over time. You  want to cultivate a felt sense for the creative process in manifesting the new.
  • You want to practice humility, putting your agendas aside, and being open to what wants to be heard and seen.
  • You want to tune into what are people ready for and what serves the whole at the moment.
