Center for Purposeful Leadership

Craig and Patricia Neal have been cultivating transformational leaders for over three decades. Their Minneapolis-Centered network teaches the art of convening, mentor coaching, purposeful leadership for women, and more. Their Thought Leader Network was an inspiration for many in the SF Bay Area consulting community .

Center for Timeless Earth Wisdom

Firehawk Hulin, a GLEN member, and Pele Rouge have sourced a vibrant community and programs helping people imagine what they can learn in relationship, partnership, and harmony with Earth and her boundless wisdom. Firehawk is talent media designer who helped The GLEN create this current website.

International Forum of Visual Practitioners Institute

Phil Bakelaar, an active GLEN member, helped found this new non-profit to provide contribution opportunities for the exploding worldwide community of  visual facilitators, designers, and scribes. The GLEN is working to work with them on collaborations.

Meridian University

Aftab Omer, President of Meridian, was a founding member of The GLEN. Meridian University is dedicated to enabling human development through wise transformative impact across multiple domains with global reach and local value. Meridian’s graduate degree programs in Business, Psychology, and Education enable students to combine passion with profession in service of larger social, cultural, ecological, and developmental goals.

 Thomas Hübl Programs

Thomas Hübl is a spiritual teacher whose work with individual and collective trauma has sparked a worldwide network of practitioners of his global social witnessing principles and practices. He is an Austrian who lives in Israel, and has a strong international following. Both Gisela Wendling and David Sibbet have been working with his teachings for several years.

The Grove Consultants International

The Grove, a San Francisco based full service OD firm, helps fund and support The GLEN as its social action contribution to co-creating a sustainable future. David Sibbet, co-director of The GLEN, is The Grove's founder and CEO. Its focus is on transforming the art of facilitation of meetings, teams, strategy and change. Grove Partners are all members of The GLEN as are many trainees.

Coro Northern California

Coro pioneered experiential leadership development in the 1950s and remains a source of programs that open doors for a diverse generation of new leaders. There are Coro Centers in Los Angeles, New Work, and Pittsburgh. David Sibbet, co-director of The GLEN, got his start here and has applied the many things he learned to both The Grove Consultants International, his company, as well as The GLEN.

The Circle Way

For more than 20 years Anne Linnea and Christine Baldwin have grown a loose network of circle practitioners worldwide from their center on the north Coast of North America. Holger Scholz, in the Leading As Sacred Practice Ensemble introduced us. Their practices have become central to The GLEN's approach to dialogic space.

Interaction Institute for Social Change

Interaction Associates, pioneers in professional facilitation in the 1970s, created a non-profit Institute extending the work of David Strauss and Michael Doyle. They are innovating at the intersection of equity, networks, and love, with racial equity as their current core strategic focus.

Desert Research Institute

Tamara Wall, co-host of the California Wildfire & Community Resilience Collaboration, is a researcher for DRI, and facilitated a GLEN grant for this project. Since 1959, the faculty, students, and staff at the Desert Research Institute (DRI) have advanced scientific knowledge to help solve pressing environmental challenges and improve human health and welfare. With more than 400 employees, over 300 projects on all seven continents, and two world-class research campuses in Reno and Las Vegas, DRI serves as one of the eight institutions in the Nevada System of Higher Education.

He is also founder of Bikablo and creator of many facilitation tools.

IONS

Inspired by a profound experience of personal discovery, Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell created IONS in 1973 to explore the interplay between scientific knowledge and inner knowing. Today, IONS has the world’s largest team of multidisciplinary scientists conducting research on frontier topics in consciousness and its impact in our lives. Alan Briskin, a GLEN Founding member, is active helping develop principles for Noetic Leadership. Many GLEN events have been held at their Earthrise Retreat Center in Petaluma CA.

The World Café is a powerful social technology for engaging people in conversations that matter, offering an effective antidote to the fast-paced fragmentation and lack of connection in today’s world. Based on the understanding that conversation is the core process that drives personal, business, and organizational life, the World Café is a way of thinking and being together sourced in a philosophy of conversational leadership.
